Supported by the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), World Aerospace will be organizing the first of its series Asia Food Technology Exhibition 2009 (AFT 2009) on 9th to 13th December 2009 at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang, Malaysia (MAEPS).

AFT 2009 will be an exhibition of the business professionals of the food technology, food biotechnology, food agriculture and food research development from around the world. This exhibition is the current state of humanity’s knowledge of how to combine resources. It can also produce desired products, to solve problems, fulfill needs or satisfy wants including technical methods, skills, processes, techniques, tools and raw materials. AFT 2009 will servers as a two-prone approach facilitating network and business opportunities amongst Malaysia and international key trade professionals.

According to YB Dato’ Mustapha Mohamed, the Minister of Agriculture Malaysia, it is timely that AFT 2009 to be held in Kuala Lumpur since this will be the first exhibition that will showcase the new technologies of food sector. “This effort is to ensure Malaysia’s growth in the food technology sectors. By and large, the food technology sector is still a very niche market for the country but the sizeable market players and growth of food industry is very demand. This yearly exhibition will be a huge success in attracting participation more than 200 leading names from world’s Food Technology, representation of 20 countries from all across the globe and presence of over 15,000 trade visitor.
